3 Months

I can't believe the boys are already 3 months old!! Time FLYS when your having fun with twins. We have had so much fun this last month. Archer found that he can get his fist into his mouth! Beckett is really trying hard to hold his own head up. They are both cooing and smiling and I think Beckett gave a little laugh the other day.. of course it was at 3:30am when he should have been sleeping! They are sleeping very well at night and the past two weeks or so they have been taking their last bottle at 8:30 after bath and books and sleeping until 4:30 am! Last night was the first time they slept until 6:30!! WOW. Dad took them to their 3 month weight check and Beckett is now a big 11lbs 5oz and Archer is 9lbs 8oz. They are both growing so well! I have been trying to get them on a bedtime routine and so far it has been smooth, with the exception of a few nights of course. Beckett has been getting colic at night and it is hard to get anything done when he is that mad. The poor bubbapants gets so upset and you can tell his stomach hurts :( and poor Archer pumpkindoodle has to sit there and stare at me with those big goo-goo eyes that makes me melt and makes me feel guilty that Im not able to hold and spend time with him.

I make a big effort to make sure that I play and read books to each boy separate so they get special "mom time".  However, it has been really funny, every time I start to sing "Baby Beluga" to Archer he starts to cry. He likes "Itsy Bitsy Spider" the best. He kicks and smiles the whole time. Beckett loves it when I sing and will kick and try to sing along with me... the second I turn music on and start to dance with him he starts to cry. So I have decided that Beckett is more like his Dad now because neither of them like to dance. Archer loves to dance with me. He will turn to listen to the music and kicks his legs and gets his arms moving.

We took cousin photos for Gam-ma for her birthday this year and their big cousin Levi was soo cute with them! He was being such a good sport about taking photos and was concerned about the babies when they would start crying.
